Learn to use Dinah Zike's Foldables and Visual Kinesthetic Vocabulary (VKV) manipulatives for middle and high school students. This institute will present a clear focus on connecting literature and writing skills to subjects across the curriculum.

Dinah Zike's Foldables are tools used to help students:

develop deep and lasting understanding of content material by re-coding text and graphics, including electronic media and real-world print
master academic language and build personally meaningful vocabulary

develop literacy strategies for successful communication
