Elementary Reading-Language Arts: Phonics, Vocabulary & Spelling Institute

Experience Dinah Zike’s Foldables^® and Visual Kinesthetic Vocabulary (VKV™) manipulatives as foundational, visual-kinesthetic literacy tools. Foldables^® are tools used to help students:

develop deep and lasting understanding of content material by re-coding text and graphics, including electronic media and real-world print
manipulate the building blocks of language through VKVs™
master academic language and build personally meaningful vocabulary
write “a little, a lot” across content areas
develop literacy strategies for successful comprehension and communication

Assessment, differentiation, and integration of learning techniques are emphasized, along with practical train the trainer tips and research. Inform your curricular decision-making with increased knowledge of 3-D interactive graphic organizers.
